Preparing a correction
A useful correction identifies the page and quotes the disputed sentence, names the paper, and points to the passage or table that supports a different account. For a number, the units, population and comparison matter as much as the value. For a conclusion, the exact endpoint matters.
Please leave personal medical information out of any future correspondence. A disagreement about an experiment can be resolved at the level of the published record; it does not need anyone’s health history.
