Ipamorelin reading list

The surgical trial is the paper I’d start with. Its practical ambition gives the earlier laboratory work a different perspective.

Suggested starting points

Begin with the randomized bowel-resection trial, then turn back to ipamorelin’s founding characterization and the healthy-male-volunteer study. That sequence moves from the clinical question to the selective hormone response.

The animal papers on skeletal mineral content and cisplatin-associated weight loss in ferrets are especially useful companions. The cardiovascular paper concerns a different ghrelin-receptor agonist in rats. The ghrelin review supplies class context, and the later reviews offer broader safety assessments.
